City University Ajman signs Memorandum of Understanding with National Charity School.

Ajman, United Arab Emirates: City University Ajman (CU Ajman) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with National Charity School to foster academic collaboration, provide scholarships, training programs, and summer courses aimed at strengthening areas of language, computer, and life skills for the school’s students.

CU Ajman President, Mr. Imran Khan, and National Charity School Director General, Dr. Mohammad Shaath signed the agreement at a ceremony held at CU Ajman campus in the presence of Vice Chancellor, Dr. Mohammad Amerah, Head of Enrollment, Ms. Salma Senaran, Professional Diploma in Teaching Department Chair, Dr. Khalid Al Derbashi and the School’s Managing Director, Mr. Ibrahim Abu Zaid.

The National Charity School holds over 16 schools and 11,000 students in its branches across Ajman, Sharjah, and Dubai. It follows the Ministry of Education’s curriculum and provides education to boys and girls from Grade 1 to Grade 12.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Khan stated: “We value this collaboration as it is in line with CU Ajman’s strategy of fostering community engagement, building partnerships with leading educational institutions, and maintaining high quality education by supporting academically outstanding students and we look forward to welcoming NCS students, faculty and administration for diverse cooperative endeavors.”

Commenting on the MoU, Dr. Shaath said: “We appreciate this strategic partnership with an esteemed educational institution, such as CU Ajman and commend their efforts in supporting our students, as well as faculty and administration”. He added, “This collaboration will benefit our community in providing opportunities for academic, social, and personal development.”

According to the agreement, the University will provide up-to 100% scholarships, based on merit and high school grades, in accordance with the terms and conditions applied.
