CU Ajman and City School signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Jobs for Nationals to recruit UAE nationals

City University Ajman and City School signs a Memorandum of Understanding with Jobs for Nationals to recruit UAE nationals as part of its Emiratisation Efforts.

Ajman, United Arab Emirates: City University Ajman (CU Ajman) and City School sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jobs for Nationals to recruit UAE nationals as part of its Emiratisation efforts and in support of UAE’s vision 2021, which mandates the inclusion of Emiratis in the job market, particularly in the private sector, and aims to increase the number of UAE nationals in the job market and their contribution to the economy.

The MoU was signed at the CU Ajman campus in the presence of University President, Mr. Imran Khan, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Mohamed Amerah, Director of Human Resources, Ms. Sadia Khan, and Jobs for Nationals Founder and CEO, Mr. Danish Haidri.

According to the terms of the MoU, Jobs for Nationals will work closely with CU Ajman and City School to attract, develop and retain UAE Nationals for the current vacant positions through a pro-active selection and recruitment process, development and retention, and career enhancement efforts to ensure the educational institutions benefit from UAE National talent.

Jobs for Nationals provides an online platform for organizations seeking to recruit Emiratis, in which the employer builds a digital portfolio to search for potential candidates and applicants can view positions and apply online.

Commenting on the MoU, Mr. Imran Khan stated: “We are pleased to extend this partnership with ‘Jobs for Nationals’ as they share the same vision of maximizing employment opportunities for UAE Locals and supporting Emirati talent.”

Ms. Sadia Khan added: “UAE Nationals have always played a vital role in progression of UAE’s economy.  Signing of this MoU shall support us in recruiting talented nationals, who are ready to make a positive contribution to the community and CU Ajman.”

As part of the agreement, CU Ajman and Jobs for Nationals will also collaborate in areas of student placements for internships and permanent employment for the University’s students and prepare and coordinate training courses in various fields.
